Meet Our New Faculty
Several new faces joined the faculty of Lewis & Clark’s three schools this year. From ecology to electromagnetism to entrepreneurship, they cover an array of research fields as well as some unique hobbies and special activities outside of their work on campus.
Get to know our new faculty in the below profiles—and learn why they are excited to join the Lewis & Clark community.
Professor Jessica Den Houter joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor of Lawyering for fall 2024, bringing a vibrant background in family law and disability rights advocacy. Alana Rader’s research focuses on patterns of landscape regeneration in integrated social-environment systems and from a critical physical geography perspective. Albert Bae’s research includes electromagnetism, quantum physics, and mechanics. Charis Asante-Agyei’s research focuses on investigating everyday entrepreneurial practices and design artifacts, paying special attention to hybrid entrepreneurship and digital platforms. Tracy Burkhard’s research areas include ecology and animal behavior. Professor Gon Ratanashevorn joins the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling from the University of Missouri. He is a faculty member in the Professional Mental Health Counseling program. Professor Pharaoh joins the Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling from the University of Central Florida UCF (Orlando, FL).
