Streamlined Personal Action Form (PAF)
The Office of Human Resources is pleased to introduce our updated Personal Action Form (PAF), designed to enhance efficiency and simplify the process for making changes to employee records.
Key Changes:
All approvals will now be routed through Workday. When you need to update a permanent employee’s record or position—such as changes in compensation, title, or FTE—simply complete the streamlined form and email it to Human Resources at hr@lclark.edu.
HR will upload the document to Workday and initiate the approval process, enhancing timeliness and accuracy while improving the overall user experience.
Remember, the purpose of the Position Action Form (PAF) is to help HR maintain accurate information about employees and their positions, ensuring compliance with payroll and reporting requirements.
Example of Approval Routing Structure in Workday:
- Supervisor
- Supervisor’s supervisor
- Dean/VP (if not one of the above)
- AVP of Finance
- AVP of HR
Specific approvals for certain changes may require additional approvals.
