L&C has entered a 2 year pilot agreement with Canva to bring Canva Pro to ALL CAS, Grad, and Law students. Information for student licensing can be found at the Canva for students webpage. Once students have Canva Pro licenses, they can create content for academic, personal, club, or work use.

As part of this agreement, L&C also received a small number of staff and faculty licenses. We have received numerous inquiries from staff and faculty requesting a license. Due to limited licenses and strong interest, staff and faculty licenses will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Licenses can only be allocated to individual users and cannot be used with shared credentials or departmental accounts.

Staff/Faculty that receive a license will be allocated a Canva Pro license for the duration of the pilot agreement, with no guarantee of renewal beyond this 2 year pilot period. As a reminder, Canva offers free accounts with access to basic features. Please review the Canva Free vs Pro comparison to evaluate your need for a Pro license.

In order to ensure fair distribution, the Canva pro License Request form for requesting a license will go live at 12pm on October 30th, 2024. We understand there is great interest in Canva Pro, and while we can’t fulfill all requests, we appreciate your understanding as we work within our license limits. If you are interested in a license, make sure to visit the Google form at 12pm and be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Name
  • L&C Email address
  • How will you use Canva Pro? (Flyers, projects, poster presentations, course integration, etc)
  • Please tell us how you plan to use Canva Pro? (Flyers, projects, poster presentations, course materials, publications, etc)
