main content Lewis & Clark accounts will no longer have access to Google Photos starting July 1, 2022

What this means for end users:

• End users will still be able to upload photos to Google Drive, Google Classroom, and Google Slides
• End users will not be able to use their Google Photos app on their phones with their lclark.edu accounts or access photos.google.com with their lclark.edu account. End users will have to find a new place to manage their photos.
• Those who use Google Photos for personal photos through their lclark.edu accounts will need to transfer ownership of these photos to a personal account using one of the following methods:
  • End users can set up partner sharing so they share the photos with a personal or other Gmail account and save those photos to that account
  • End users can also move their photos outside of Google
• Institutional photos in individual or departmental Photos accounts will need to be moved to an external drive, or (after curation) to the regular Drive folder.
