The Dubach Labs computer classrooms in Templeton are scheduled to close on Saturday, December 11th to get ready for Templeton remodel construction. Computers may be available for open access until December 16.
Students and others who used Dubach computers during open access hours can use the Watzek Library and Remote Labs.
For those who used Dubach Labs for instruction, Information Technology is working on a plan to replace the Dubach Lab desktop computers with a combination of laptops and remote access computers. These machines will match the specs and software selection of the Dubach lab machines.
Based on feedback received at the December CAS faculty meeting, there will be one 30-laptop cart housed in JR Howard that can be reserved and checked out by faculty. In addition, 20 laptops will be available for short-term check out by students in Watzek Library. Finally, the Remote Lab is available for students who prefer to use their own laptops.
After Winter Break we will share more information, including details about reserving and checking out the laptop cart. If you have questions or concerns regarding the upcoming changes, please let us know at itservice@lclark.edu.
