Joann Geddes, current Co-director of AES, recently visited with former ISALC special programs instructors Doris Marks and Mary Lou Stewart. After being selected from more than 9,000 applicants, former AES student and 2011-2012 Dallaire Scholarship recipient, Kelvine Muhire was selected to serve as a Global Health Corps Fellow in the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator at the Rwandan Ministry of Health. Following two weeks of training at Yale University, Kelvine joined other Fellows who met with President Clinton and his daughter Chelsea when they recently visited the Starskey Hearing Foundation in Kigali, Rwanda.2013 Commencement Speaker, Retired Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire, Visits with AES Student
Canadian Senator and Retired Lieutenant-General Roméo Dallaire first spoke at Lewis & Clark on November 18, 2004. On that day, he became the first contributor to the Lewis & Clark AES scholarship that now bears his name. He returned to campus in 2013 as the College of Arts & Sciences commencement speaker and visited with Dallaire Scholarship recipient, Emmanuel Habimana as well as many supporters of the scholarship. - EVENTS

April 4, 2024Kwibuka 30 - To Remember and Learn: Rwanda
The Afrikan Diaspora Club and Dallaire Scholar invite you to an evening of learning and paying respect to the victims of the 1994 genocide against Tutsis in Rwanda. This event will bring together students, staff, and faculty to engage with distinguished speakers. Students will have the opportunity to interact with them, followed by dinner.
Background: Kwibuka events and ceremonies take place annually during the official 100 days of mourning held every year between April and July to remember the victims of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, known as Kwibuka, which means “to remember”.March 2, 2024Annual International Fair - Lewis & Clark
