Student on Jeopardy!
HOST: “This Lewis & Clark student recently competed in the College Championship version of Jeopardy!”
CONTESTANT: “Who is Lyndsey Romick CAS ’12?”
HOST: “That’s correct!”
Romick, an international affairs major from Grants Pass, traveled to California in December to compete in the game show’s college tournament. The episode aired February 1.
“The competition went by so fast!” Romick says. “I really loved getting to meet the other competitors and Alex Trebek. During one commercial break, he went on a tangent about how much he wanted to be an avatar. It was great!”
Members of the Lewis & Clark community packed into Council Chamber the night the show aired to cheer Romick on. She ended the competition in second place, with $5,700.
