As part of L&C’s membership with the Council of Independent College’s Belong: Inclusive Learning Community, faculty and staff are invited to enroll by February 15 for a series of free self-paced courses on cutting-edge topics.

The Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) and their one-hour, self-paced Quick Study courses help faculty and staff stay current and confident teaching cutting-edge topics. Up to 50 members of our campus (enrollment is on a first come, first serve basis) will have access to the following courses* until December 31, 2025, that you can be taken online, anytime:

  • Establishing a Culture of Constructive Conversations
  • Developing Students’ Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills
  • Developing Students’ Media Literacy
  • Empowering Students to Use AI Responsibly
  • Leveraging AI to Develop Course Resources Teaching with AI-Inclusive and AI-Resistant
  • Learning Experiences
  • Introduction to Generative AI
  • Writing Effective AI Prompts
  • Preparing Students for Experiential Learning Integrating Open Educational Resources
  • Embedding Career Guidance into Your Course

*Additional courses to be released throughout the year!

Enrollment is open until February 15. You will receive an email from ACUE by the end of February granting you Learning Lab Quick Study access.
