International Violence Against Women Day
Support International Violence Against Women Day by donating to the Raphael House of Portland!
As we approach the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25th, the Center for Social Change & Community Involvement is launching a fundraising campaign to support Raphael House, a vital community organization committed to ending domestic violence and empowering survivors.
Raphael House of Portland is a nonprofit organization that supports survivors of domestic violence by providing emergency shelter, long-term housing assistance, advocacy, and education. Founded in 1977, Raphael House offers a safe haven for individuals and families of all backgrounds, with services designed to help them achieve safety, stability, and independence. Committed to building a violence-free, equitable community, Raphael House works to empower survivors and promote non-violent living through outreach, collaboration, and systemic change.
From November 18th to 25th, we invite you to join us in this effort to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families in need. Your generous contributions will support Raphael House’s impactful programs, from emergency shelter and advocacy to education and long-term stability services. Please find the link to donate here! Make sure to mention Lewis & Clark so we can track your impact.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to fostering a world free from violence. We also want to invite you to our final event for this day, that is a demonstration on the 25th November. Please find more information for the same in the poster below:
