Health Reminders - Fall 2024

Welcome back, students! Below you will find important respiratory illness reminders and guidance to help you stay well this Fall. Our recommendations remain in line with the CDC and OHA.

  • Stay up to date with immunizations. New COVID and flu vaccines will be available this Fall! More information about on campus vaccine clinics in October is coming soon.
  • Wear a mask if you are sick. Free KN95 masks are available in the Health Promotion and Wellness office (Fowler 110) and in residence halls. If you have COVID, be sure to wear a mask around others for 10 days.
  • If you have COVID, stay home until:

    – Your symptoms are getting better AND

    – You are fever-free for 24 hours without medication

  • Get help if you need it. Make an appointment at the Student Health Center or in the community if your symptoms are uncontrolled or worsening.

Respiratory illness testing options on campus:

    • COVID antigen tests are for sale in the bookstore
    • With an appointment, COVID molecular and antigen tests are available in the Student Health Center, along with rapid strep, flu, and mono tests
