Most people interact with Meta virtually through its platforms, like Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp. But last fall, 16 L&C students got to visit the Seattle offices of Meta in person.
Meta employees John Hadidian-Baugher BA ’06, an engineering manager (internal tools), and Alaina Scherer BA ’12, an engineering leadership recruiter, shared their experiences and offered current students a glimpse into the world of work and life after Lewis & Clark.
Hadidian-Baugher made the initial outreach that resulted in the visit. Lewis & Clark’s Career Center organized the student trip.
