Keagan Polentz BA ’24, an art and psychology double major, was one of 16 graduating artists who displayed their work in Squeeze, this spring’s Senior Art Exhibition at the Hoffman Gallery. For her piece titled Second Nature, she designed a unique letter font, hand built in clay, inspired by the Dyslexia Typographic Design project. Her goal was to intentionally challenge viewers and mirror her own difficulties with dyslexia. “I express my experiences related to dyslexia, an invisible disability, through ceramics and sculpture,” says Polentz.
