Building Leaders Through Student Life Programming

For many Lewis & Clark students, the leadership opportunities made available through the Division of Student Life help launch their future success.

For many Lewis & Clark students, the leadership opportunities made available through the Division of Student Life help launch their future success. Enrichment support for Student Life programming allows students to use the skills they are learning in the classroom to engage with their community, both locally and globally. From service learning to alternative breaks, from leadership development workshops to weekend trips through College Outdoors, students have opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in real-world situations. Through these experiences, they gain connections, experience, and confidence that will carry over into their future relationships and careers.

A generous anonymous donor has created a special fund in support of these important Student Life experiences. By endowing the fund, this donor has ensured a permanent source of funding for programs that foster student leadership, wellness, inclusion, and a sense of belonging on campus. In addition, a special focus of this fund will be to increase access for underprivileged students, who may have more challenges accessing these programs, thereby ensuring that all Lewis & Clark students can benefit regardless of their financial capacity.

We are grateful for this donor and our other inspired Student Life supporters. These donor partnerships allow the college to continue expanding and enriching what we offer our students today and for years to come.”
