Fir Acres Campus Classroom Computer Replacement

Fir Acres Campus Classrooms are overdue for technology updates, especially the actual computers. After evaluating available options, the decision was made to replace the current Mac Mini classroom computers with Dell Micro PCs. As IT staff shared during a recent Library and Educational Technology Committee meeting, the decision was primarily made as a cost savings measure. Computer replacements will take place during the Summer semester.

Information Technology will make a handful of the new Windows classroom systems available during the spring semester to give faculty the opportunity to test and provide feedback. Systems are currently installed in the Watzek Library classroom, JR Howard 245, and Miller 104. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at itservice@lclark.edu.
