Homecoming 2009: A Win On and Off the Field

In late October, more than 650 alumni, parents, and friends of Lewis & Clark attended the campuswide celebration of Homecoming.

The crowd cheered on the Pioneer football team as they captured their first home win in five years against Crown College (57-35). Other highlights included affinity reunions for theatre, residence life, and the Pamplin Society of Fellows—as well as receptions for young alumni and multicultural alumni.

In addition, dozens of alumni volunteers took part in Careers for Pioneers, sharing professional development advice with about 80 current students.
