National Champions in Forensics
Open gallery
Lewis & Clark has been competing in individual speech events for more than 50 years, but the program has never had a student win a national championship in an individual speech event. Now, after a historic night at the National Forensic Association’s national championship tournament in Santa Ana, California, the Pioneers have two. Ally Knighton BA ’21 won the national championship in Informative Speaking, and Aaron Lutz BA ’22 won the national championship in Extemporaneous Speaking.
