The Association of Fundraising Professionals for Oregon and Southwest Washington recently honored Life Trustee John Bates and his wife, Susan, for their longstanding community leadership and generosity, presenting them with the 2018 Award for Outstanding Philanthropists. President Wim Wiewel joined John and Susan at the annual luncheon, held on November 7. At the same event, Kimberly Cooper, wife of Trustee Jon Jaqua BS ’70, received the AFP Award for Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser.
