Partnering with Barnes & Noble offers students many pluses, including increased buying power, textbook rentals on all adopted titles, and a price-match program. In addition, Barnes & Noble offers a robust online shopping experience, so alumni and parents can easily stock up on Lewis & Clark gear and other merchandise.
A bookstore evaluation committee, chaired by Dean of Students Anna Gonzalez, recommended Barnes & Noble after reviewing bookstore operations, researching industry trends, and surveying the community.
“Barnes & Noble understands the needs of our students, faculty, and staff,” says Alan Finn, vice president for business and finance. “They are really eager and looking forward to working with us in a new and different way. We are excited to have them join our community.”
