ENVX: Environment Across Boundaries
Recap: Environmental Affairs Symposium
Can sustainability survive change? How can art further the goals of environmental movements? What tools do students have at their disposal to create a connected, environmentally conscious community on campus?
These were a few of the questions tackled by the college’s 18th annual Environmental Affairs Symposium, held in October.
This year’s keynote event featured sculptor Elizabeth Demaray, associate professor of fine arts at Rutgers University. In keeping with the symposium’s theme, her work explores the interactions between man-made and natural environments. Her keynote address focused on the work in her new exhibition, titled Across Boundaries.
