- Charlayne Hunter-Gault, journalist, national correspondent, news anchor, and activist, joined the Lewis & Clark community as the 2014 Chamberlin lecturer. She discussed her personal and professional journey as a social justice advocate over the last five decades.
- Former U.S. Representative Harold Ford Jr. and former Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele spoke on the future of both political parties.
- Warren Washington, senior scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research, discussed climate change, with a focus on climate modeling, societal impacts, and environmental justice.
