Football—The Lewis & Clark football team finished the season 4-5 overall and 1-5 in Northwest Conference action. Seniors Raul Milan and John Berokoff and junior Logan Kotzian earned All-Conference Second-Team honors, while six other Pioneers made the honorable mention list.
Women’s Soccer—The women’s soccer team ended the season with its best Northwest Conference finish (fourth place) since 1985. The Pioneers broke the school record for most conference wins (7-6-3) in a season and tied the record for most wins in a season (7-9-3). The team also broke school records in least number of goals allowed in a season and most goals scored in a conference game. Six team members earned All-NWC honors, with first- year Emily Thompson making the first team and senior Traci Nakamura earning a spot on the second team.
Volleyball—The volleyball team had a rough season, plagued by injuries to team members. The Pioneers finished 6-19 overall and 2-14 in Northwest Conference play. Sophomore Kataleya Milan was named to the NWC honorable mention list.
Editor’s Note: At press time, the women’s basketball team held first place in the conference and was ranked sixth in the country in the WBCA/USA Today coaches poll. Watch for coverage of the team’s stellar season in the next issue of the Chronicle.
