Meet the new Alumni Relations team
There are some new faces in the alumni relations office. The new team is committed to serving alumni and developing quality alumni programming.
Paul Moredock, associate vice president for alumni relations and development. Moredock intimately understands the concept of service. He spent 13 years rising through the ranks at Nordstrom, a retailer known for leading the industry in customer service. Before joining Lewis & Clark as a development officer in 2000, he spent three years as vice president of community relations and fund-raising for United Way. “I’m very impressed with Paul,” says Jo Becker ’96, who serves on the Lewis & Clark Board of Alumni. “He’s taken it upon himself to learn who the alumni are and what we need.”
Cindy Fite, associate director of alumni relations. Fite’s main responsibilities lie in event planning. Born in Michigan, she graduated from Smith College and most recently raised money for the performing arts through a women’s donor group in Los Angeles. She was drawn to Lewis & Clark by its top-notch staff and the College’s vision for alumni relations.
Liz Fisher ’00, assistant director of alumni relations. Fisher, who recently redesigned the alumni office Web site, is working diligently to establish programs and enhance benefits for fellow alumni. After graduating with a degree in international affairs, she and five other Lewis & Clark grads started a company called FatEarth. Fisher still stays in touch with her former coworkers, but she’s pleased to be back on campus working with alumni.
Karla Green, administrative coordinator. Green joined the alumni relations team after working two years in College relations. She helped coordinate this year’s Alumni Honors Banquet and Holiday Gala.
The alumni relations team encourages Lewis & Clark alums to stay in touch and share their success stories, concerns, and fresh ideas.
