Data Privacy Day
Recent years have been transformational for privacy. In the wake of the European Union’s Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), governments around the world are enacting privacy laws and regulations.
In fact, beginning this January, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) went into effect on January 1, 2020. This new law will impact the privacy programs of businesses who collect information on consumers.
On January 28, Stay Safe Online will host a LIVE STREAM EVENT with experts on U.S. and international privacy who will delve deep into the global wave of regulations and what they mean for economies around the world today and into the future.
