Drop-in Support for Google Data Storage Limits
Now is the time to copy or download Google Drive files to make sure you don’t lose access to files owned by former students. This means that Drive files owned by students who graduated in 2020 or earlier will be deleted.
Student accounts that have been suspended for at least one year will be permanently deleted on an annual basis beginning July 1, 2022. This means that Drive files owned by students who graduated in 2020 or earlier will be deleted. If there are student created files you wish to save, you will need to transfer ownership of them by copying or downloading these files. We’ve created a helpsheet walking users through how to determine which, if any, files you can access are owned by another account and how to copy these files. Questions? Contact the IT Service Desk at itservice@lclark.edu or drop-in at during one of our virtual help sessions below. Registration is not required, but encouraged. Other times may be available by appointment.
