Lab and Classroom Software Request
Software in our mobile labs and classroom computers is installed by default on all lab and classroom computers, except where noted. Additional software may be requested for use in your assigned classroom and/or public labs at Lewis & Clark. To avoid potential disruption of services, we prefer to add new software and perform upgrades during Winter and Summer breaks. Any member of the Lewis & Clark community is welcome to request software.
Please be advised that in many circumstances, IT will not be able to finance your software requests. It will be up to you to procure financing.
Please understand that software evaluation versions will not be accepted. Shareware is not acceptable unless proof of ownership is provided or you have written approval from the software owner for such purposes. Freeware will be reviewed per request as dictated by the freeware license agreement.
All requests for software must be submitted, at minimum, two weeks in advance of your expected need to use the software. We will need to test the program with our systems and find time to deploy it - this can take several days. Please make your request as early as possible in case there are technical or staffing challenges in meeting your request. Requests made within two weeks may not be granted.
Unless you have an arrangement with the Lab Manager, software must be requested prior to the start of each semester.
Please note that this request form is only for CAS and graduate campus classroom computers and IT-managed CAS, Watzek, and graduate school labs.
Thank you for your assistance in preparing the labs and classrooms. Please feel free to contact the Service Desk if you have any questions.
Information Technology is located in Watzek Library on the Undergraduate Campus.
