Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) Afternoon

Join us for a fun afternoon on the water, and learn to Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP). We will leave right after brunch and be back before dinner. No experience is needed, we’ll teach you everything you need to know! Paddle by beautiful Doug Fir forests while trying to spot local trout and great blue heron. SUPing is most fun in the sun shine, so the trip will be cancelled and your money refunded in case of inclement weather. We will only pack snacks, so be sure to eat lunch beforehand.

Physical Demands

No experience necessary! We’ll teach you everything you need to know, and SUPing is a great option for beginners. The distance paddled and time on the water will be tailored to the group and weather conditions.

We’ll plan to spend a couple hours on the water, either sitting, standing, or kneeling on a floating paddleboard. Paddling uses full range of motion in the upper body and requires some balance. Swimming ability is not required since you will be wearing a Personal Floatation Device (aka, a lifejacket), but you should be comfortable in deep water.
