Fair Share participants pay 80.86% of the union dues, which covers the costs of collective bargaining, contract administration, and related activities. However, fair share payers do not have the same rights as members such as determining what is negotiated in your collective bargaining agreement (union contract) or deciding who will represent them at the bargaining table.
