Lewis & Clark has many policies in place that affect sponsored projects and research compliance. Although not exhaustive, the following list includes policies and guidelines that are especially applicable to external grants and research.

- Material Transfer Agreements (MTAs) : MTAs are agreements that govern the transfer of various biological and research materials. An MTA must be signed by an authorized signatory of the College before any material is transferred. If you are interested in receiving materials from another institution, a nonprofit, or a for-profit organization and have received a draft MTA or are interested in initiating the process, please contact SPARC. SPARC will review and work with appropriate constituencies to facilitate material transfers.
