Funding Resources
Finding Appropriate Funding
The SRO can help you identify appropriate sources of funding for your project. We can be most helpful if we clearly understand your project ideas, the timeline, what your budget might include, and how this project fits into your future plans. Give us a call today if you have a project in mind for which you need funding—even if it seems far in the future.
In addition, keep an eye out for funding opportunity emails from the sponsres@lclark.edu account: we send targeted opportunities and deadlines relevant to your field of study if we think they may be of interest. Also, think about where some of your colleagues doing similar research have been funded. If you want to begin the search yourself, you may find something of potential interest in the following searchable funding databases or lists of funding sources.
Searchable Funding Databases:
- Grants.gov provides information about all federal funding opportunities.
- Duke University Funding Opportunities: A searchable funding database
- Michigan State University Libraries: A searchable funding database
