Mail Services is here to assist students with their letter and package needs.

It is not an official U.S. Post Office, but it does provide many of the same services. This is where students come to collect their mail and packages, buy stamps and envelopes, send letters and ship packages. We offer outgoing shipping services from USPS, UPS, and FedEx.

**Addresses on all incoming mail should include “MSC” (Mail Stop Code) instead of “LC or PO BOX.” This will ensure that mail will come directly to Lewis & Clark College and will prevent any mail from mistakenly being sent to the downtown post office.

Students will have 14 days to pick up their USPS mail located in Mail Services. Please note, a reminder email will not be sent to students. Students will only receive one notification for mail pickup. If mail is not picked up after 14 days, the Mail Services team will return to sender.

Students will have 14 days to pick up accountable packages located in Mail Services. Students will receive a reminder email if a package has not been retrieved. Example reminder email below.

If a package is placed in the Lockers, the student will have 48 hours to retrieve the package. If the package is not picked up in 48 hours, the Mail Services team will remove the package from the lockers and place in Mail Services. Students will receive an initial email to retrieve their package from the lockers. Students will receive a second email reminder if the package has not been picked up. Example reminder email below.

Yes! If you receive an email from Mail Services saying you have an item to pick up, please follow the instructions in the email. It will indicate what type of mail piece you have and where to pickup.
