Waseda

Waseda/CS-L Program participants are welcome to participate in all Lewis & Clark College student activities. These include club activities, special lecture series, club sports, concerts, media groups, and College Outdoors programs.

In addition, Lewis & Clark has provided a few special activities that will help Waseda students integrate into campus life. These include:

Conversation Groups: Waseda participants will meet with Lewis & Clark students once a week in conversation groups. Topics will be chosen by the students themselves. All Lewis & Clark students will be volunteers, selected because of their interest in international students.

Community Friends Program: Each Waseda participant will be paired with a person or family from the local community, if desired. Community Friends volunteer to host the Waseda students once each month. Waseda students may be invited to participate in family outings, dinners, parties, or trips.

College Outdoors programs: CS-L participants may sign up for any College Outdoors program that interests them.  This will enable Waseda students to participate in the outdoor programs with US students. The schedule is available online. To sign up for a particular trip, students may visit the College Outdoors Office.  Students are expected to pay any trip fees at the time of sign up.

Social Change and Community Involvement activities: Waseda students can take part in volunteer activities.
