Program Title: Waseda Exchange
Credits (Semester Hours): Average of 16 credits per semester
TOEFL Requirement with ESL Courses: 80 IBT
TOEFL Requirement with no ESL Courses: 91 IBT
Faculty & Staff: College of Arts and Sciences faculty, International Students & Scholars staff.
Curriculum
Students’ choice of courses will depend on their English proficiency.
In the fall a typical English-language-intensive curriculum includes:
AES ESL* course work (4-12 credits)
Undergraduate course/courses, depending on English proficiency (4-12 credits)
(Optional) Physical Education/Activity Course (1 credit)
In the spring, a typical curriculum includes:
AES course work (0-8 credits)
Undergraduate course/courses, depending on English proficiency (8-16 credits)
(Optional) Physical Education/Activity Course (1 credit)
Waseda exchange students may register for courses at Lewis & Clark in a variety of undergraduate subjects. They must meet any pre-requisites to enroll in undergraduate courses.
International Students and Scholars (ISS) is located in Fowler Student Center on the Undergraduate Campus.
