Health Center Updates:

Appointment access

Due to staffing shortages this semester, wait times for appointments have been impacted and some students may experience delays in appointment availability. If you feel you need to be evaluated urgently for a health concern, and we are not able to accommodate that request, we encourage you to seek an off-campus evaluation. Here is a list of local urgent care facilities and hospitals. We will continue to strive to meet the needs of our campus community and appreciate your patience during this shortage.

Nurse Consultation Line

The institution contracts with a third-party “Nurse Consultation Line” (Fonemed) that provides after-hours medical advice. They are experiencing delays in their call-back response times due to demand and their own staffing shortages. If you would like medical advice after hours, another resource you can also utilize is the medical advice line associated with your personal health insurance plan. Typically, there is an advice line phone number located on the back of your insurance card. For PacificSource members, you can download the mobile app to access their 24-hour NurseLine.
