Emergency Operations Plan
Lewis & Clark recognizes the importance of comprehensive emergency planning to ensure the safety and well-being of its community. Planning for all phases of emergency incidents, including preparedness, mitigation, response, continuity, and recovery, is necessary to minimize the impact of emergencies and to help ensure a quick and effective response.
Each phase of emergency management requires a tailored planning approach to ensure that all possible scenarios are considered and that the necessary resources and protocols are in place. Effective emergency response depends on adequate preparation, successful mitigation efforts, viable continuity plans, and broad-based recovery plans.
By taking a proactive approach to emergency planning, Lewis & Clark can reduce the risks and impacts of emergency incidents and enhance the safety and security of its community. The college is committed to working collaboratively with local emergency responders and community partners to develop and maintain effective emergency management plans that address the unique needs and challenges of the campus community.
Emergency Management is located in East Hall on the Undergraduate Campus.
