Student and Departmental Account Services does not offer tax advice. If you have specific questions about your tax benefits, please contact a tax professional.
Lewis & Clark partners with ECSI to distribute the 1098-T Tax Form. Eliminate potential mail complications and consent to electronic access of your 1098-T Tax Form. To withdraw from having a paper 1098-T mailed and enroll in exclusively electronic access click here. If you are already enrolled or wish to receive an electronic copy click here.
If you choose not to enroll, a paper copy of your 1098-T Tax Form will be mailed to your preferred mailing address on record with Lewis & Clark by the end of January.
The IRS regulations require institutions of higher education to report in Box 1 all payments received, up to the amount of the qualified tuition and related expenses. In addition, we report the total dollar amount of scholarships and grants, administered and processed by the school, in box 5 of the 1098-T.
