Shelly is an award-winning writer and editor with more than 20 years of experience in the communications field. She currently serves as editor of the L&C Magazine.
Early in her career, Shelly worked in the corporate communications department of a national financial services firm. She later served as grants manager at the St. Louis Science Center, where she wrote both development and marketing publications.
Shelly graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and earned her master’s degree in English from Washington University in St. Louis.
