Born and raised in Oregon, Karen completed her Business Administration Degree at Oregon State University and has recently completed her Master Degree in Student Affairs Administration here at the Lewis & Clark Graduate School. After working as an accounting supervisor, she took a child producing sabbatical for 8 years and then found her true calling - administering financial aid. As the resident technology guru, Karen enjoys unraveling the mysterious calculations of the FAFSA and financial aid for both parents and students.
In her free time, Karen enjoys visiting her daughter and son-in-law in Phoenix, Arizona and her son at his college. She also likes to geocache with her husband (a GSEC alum) and taking long walks on the beautiful Oregon beaches with her Corgi, Velvet.
