“After practicing animal law for many years in Europe, I wanted to pursue my LLM in order to gain a new perspective about other legal systems and approaches. Animal welfare is an international concern and problems should be faced world-wide in a collaborative effort. The LLM program provided the ideal environment to learn, make these connections and form new partnerships. And, Portland is one of the most welcoming and beautiful places to spend time. The city has much to offer and is an inspiring setting in which to learn and study.”
