The scholarship is open to students from countries where Karuna Foundation has an active grantmaking program and who have been accepted to the LLM in Environmental, Natural Resources, & Energy Law at Lewis & Clark Law School. Applicants for the scholarship are expected to showcase a genuine passion for environmental law and helping to mitigate climate change, which can be evidenced through prior work engagements, relevant experiences, or articulated in their personal statement. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate an aspiration to influence the landscape of environmental law and policy within their home countries, including mitigating and adapting to the pressing climate change issues their home communities face.
