Hey I’m Pringgo From Luwu Timur, a small village in Indonesia. I had the opportunity to join the UWC movement, and for a couple of years, I felt that I improved exponentially. It was such a life changing experience for me, considering I came from a small village with a relatively homogenous community. Being surrounded by people from different places and cultures has opened my eyes so much, and forced me to re learn about many things I have taken for granted my whole life.
I heard about Lewis & Clark the first time from an alumni of my school, and ever since, I’ve been doing a lot of research and it made me fall in love more with the college. The beautiful campus, the opportunities, and the city itself, it all seems perfect to me. (especially with the fact that I’ve been living next to the sea my whole life). I plan to take economics as my major even though I don’t have any prior knowledge on the field. But no worries, for the past 2 years IB has taught me to be an extra resilient person, so I hope it’ll help.
Additionally, I love to cook. In fact, I think cooking for someone is my love language. I will either cook you the best meal you will ever try in your life, or just traumatize you with an overly spicy meal.
Besides everything, I really look forward to being on campus and meeting everyone, and try my best to make the most out of my time in college, preparing myself for more adventures life has in store for me.
