Breathing Easy: Res Hall Boiler Upgrade!

Exciting improvements are coming to our residence halls! We’re replacing the old metal exhaust flues in four Res Hall condensing boiler systems with durable PVC assemblies. The acidic pH of the condensate has eroded the stainless steel, making this upgrade essential.

These flues are responsible for venting carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other hazardous gases safely outdoors. Ensuring they function perfectly is crucial for the health and safety of our residents. Here’s to a safer, more efficient heating system for everyone!
