Stace Parlen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon. Stace graduated in 2015 with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education & Counseling in Portland, Oregon. Stace specializes in working with neurodivergent, transgender and/or gender diverse (TGD) communities including those who struggle with eating disorders and/or disordered eating, and negative body image.
Stace works from an intersectional lens and utilizes a Health at Every Size (HAES) and Fat Positivity framework. This helps Stace to support their clients in exploring the influence of diet culture and fatphobia in their lives in connection with their client’s race and ethnicity, SES and social class, gender, sexual orientation, and body appearance among other areas of identity.
In addition to practicing therapy in their own private practice, Stace is an adjunct professor at Lewis & Clark Graduate School and provides consulting and training for individuals, agencies, and group practices around the Portland, Oregon area.
Center for Community Engagement is located in Rogers Hall on the Graduate Campus.
