My name is Stas and I am from Russia. I have recently graduated from UWC Dilijan, an international school in Armenia, where I had an opportunity to meet people from all over the world, broaden my horizons and learn more about the world I live in.
For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to study abroad and learn more about life outside of my hometown. This is how I found out about the UWC movement and decided to give it a try. After two intense years of IB, it was time to make a decision about where I wanted to continue my journey. Thanks to the friendships I made at UWC, I got to know about Lewis & Clark and after a careful consideration and discussion with my friends who were already enrolled, I realized that Lewis & Clark College was the best place for me to go to.
For me, Computer Science has always been one of my favorite subjects and before UWC I was confident that I would take it as a major. However, in Dilijan, I discovered a new subject that I fell in love with: Economics. Still not being completely sure which one I want to dedicate more time to, I love that the Liberal Arts system at L&C allows me to explore different subjects before making a commitment to a specific one.
I am in love with photography, and access to nature, as well as urban locations, is what makes me very excited when thinking about arriving at Lewis & Clark College this Fall.
I can not wait to come on campus, create new memories with the people I will be studying and living with, and call Lewis & Clark College my new home!
