Attending UWC Costa Rica is definitely an experience for the books. I enjoyed being immersed both in the beautiful nature and busy town of Santa Ana, where raccoons and armadillos would grace us with their presence at night, yet just a walk away I could get a fresh fruit smoothie, I enjoyed sharing that with people from all over the world who weren’t afraid to share and learn.
In all truth I didn’t know what Lewis and Clark was, and I was pretty honest about that and how I was going with the flow when it came to choosing my future school, in my interview, which I thought would get my application rejected XD but even though I was a nervous wreck and didn’t know what I wanted in a school, the Lewis and Clark admissions team was honestly the best I had dealt with throughout my process, no matter how I messed up they would help with such patiences and kindness, which made me fall in love with the school. Im also a sucker for nature (went to a boarding school in Costa Rica lol), and the campus was so beautiful the first time I saw a video of it i cried and knew it had to mean something. Lewis & Clark simply just felt like home to me, somewhere I can be at ease for 4 years.
This is a very common theme, nature is my muse, and with that comes my love for biology. So no doubt I will be majoring in Biology, with more than likely a minor in ENVS. Even though biology has my heart, I also tend to pick up different hobbies, I also love to crochet, write poems, and making stuff in the kitchen. I want to lead an interesting life at Lc while meeting interesting people.
