Amanda Valley is a familiar face at Lewis & Clark College, having been part of the Admissions staff for nine years. Hired as a Department Specialist in 2013, Amanda went on to serve as the Campus Visit Coordinator from 2017 - 2022, when she was hired as the Associate Director of Alumni and Parent Engagement.

Having spent the better part of a decade at L&C, Amanda has forged lasting friendships and has served on the steering committee of One L&C, the employee engagement group for Lewis & Clark staff and faculty, and helped oversee the launch of One L&C Champions, the peer based recognition program for colleagues of the college.

At home Amanda is married to John, the outreach director for Oregon’s 529 College Saving Plan, and has two future Pios, Parker and Bridget. Her 14 year old Corgi mix, Dominic, can be found on campus from time to time delighting everyone he encounters.
