Do you have any advice for the students?: Housework/laundry/dishes and yard work will be ever present in your life, get used to doing it (until you can maybe afford to have someone do them for you of course)
What is your favorite thing about your job?: Working outdoors… yes, even on rainy days. I’m a pluviophile.
Something you enjoy doing in your free time?: Used to be golfing and some light hiking but the body won’t let me much anymore. TV and movies, computer games, music and reading now. I dabble in graphic design stuff and sound editing. I’m a boomer gamer.
Some tips:
Don’t cook bacon naked.
Don’t road rage, everyone is just trying to get somewhere too.
Try new things even if you’re uncomfortable with it. It gets harder as you get older.
