Hey everyone! I am Diego from Venezuela, and I attended UWC Costa Rica. It was an amazing experience, there are not enough words to describe it, but I will try my best. I believe my own experience at UWC was about the people surrounding me, teachers, administration, and peers. They are a welcoming and uplifting group of people. I think this is what I enjoyed the most about my experience. This same group of people made me consider applying to L&C, their feedback and comments were helpful.
I want to major in Psychology, and if I’m able to, I would like to minor in Art History and Gender Studies. I feel I always had an interest in both and thanks to UWC I was able to explore these passions. My hobbies are reading, getting to know new places and people, and I enjoy getting to relax and connect with nature. I have traveled a lot, my mom has always believed that traveling is one of the most enriching experiences there is. Because of the situation in my country, traveling, even within the country, became a privilege, and we exercise it as such. During my time at Lewis & Clark, I hope to get to know more about the northwest region, to meet new people, hear their stories and share mine, and overall to have a great time!
