L&C Welcomes a Wave of Summer Camps and Conferences!

Summer has officially landed at Lewis & Clark, and with it comes an exciting lineup of camps and conferences that are set to energize our campus through mid-August! From inspiring young writers and scientists to rising athletes and future leaders, L&C is the temporary home for more than 3,000 campers and conference attendees.

The Conferences and Events team has been working hard to get ready for a dynamic mix of summer programming to descend on campus—and they’re not doing it alone.

Cue the College Crew!

Our front-line hospitality heroes are none other than our Guest Service Agents—L&C college students who are gaining career-ready competencies and learning the art of multitasking with a smile. Whether they’re checking guests into residence halls, answering campus questions, or providing directions to the campus vending machines (a critical skill), they’re doing it all with energy and professionalism that makes us proud and creates the foundation for future career success.

“These student staffers are truly the heart of the guest experience,” Associate Director of Conferences and Events Daniel Eagle said. “They bring enthusiasm, problem-solving savvy, and a friendly face to every interaction. They’re incredible ambassadors for Lewis & Clark.”

  • Wear your name badge for easy recognition.
  • Offer to point out favorite spots like the Manor House, Agnes Flanagan Chapel, Estate Gardens, or your own favorite hideaway—and show them our interactive map!

“With sunshine, good vibes, and so much activity, this summer at Lewis & Clark is bound to be one for the books,” Eagle said. “Thanks for helping us make it unforgettable—for our guests and for the student leaders helping to make it all happen.”
