Earthrise Law Center is seeking a 2025 (or December 2024) law school graduate to be a Founder’s Legacy legal fellow starting in late August 2025. This is a temporary, two-year fellowship with no option for extension.

Earthrise has a full docket of exciting and complex litigation and advocacy matters covering a broad spectrum of environmental laws and issues. For example, currently Earthrise staff and students are working on cases involving endangered species, water quality standards, forest protection, energy infrastructure, and more. The fellow will assist Earthrise faculty members and staff attorneys in all aspects of their matters, such as case development, legal research and writing, motions practice, communicating with clients and expert witnesses, discovery, oral argument, settlement, and policy advocacy. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with and learn from attorneys who are dedicated both to public interest environmental litigation and to training new lawyers on how to be successful advocates. The fellow will also work to develop their own matters.

Earthrise is looking for a smart, enthusiastic, hard-working person with a positive attitude and a desire to have a career in the public interest environmental legal field.
