Strategic Planning Feedback Events Need You

Dear Colleagues,

Thank you to the more than 150 of you who participated in our draft plan launch last week in Council Chamber and via Zoom. Now we need your thoughtful input to finalize the plan.

On the website you will find a calendar of events where you can learn more and provide feedback on the draft.

These include events with President Robin Holmes-Sullivan for faculty and staff starting next week.

We have scheduled events on all three campuses, on different days of the week and different times of the day, in order to make it easier for faculty and staff to attend. Each event is open to all faculty and staff, regardless of location. Those who work on the law school campus are equally invited to events on the graduate school and CAS campuses, and vice versa. In fact, mingling across campuses is part of the goal of this process!

These events also include Small-Group Discussions on all three campuses from September 18 through October 3. Please note that if you plan to attend one of the four Small-Group Discussions, you must RSVP so that we can send you preparation details and plan for the room set-up and refreshments. (One of these sessions will be by Zoom.) The Small-Group Discussions will be facilitated opportunities to engage with other members of the campus community, designed to elicit feedback that will then be shared with the Executive Council.

This plan is part of a dynamic and iterative process that will set a future direction for us. We outline where we will invest additional resources in the coming years and where we must come together in more collaborative ways.
